Polyether ether ketone PEEK film
Polyether ether ketone, also known as PEEK, is a polymer composed of repeating units containing one ketone bond and two ether bonds in the main chain structure. It is generally a type of polyarylether polymer obtained by condensation with aromatic binary phenols, and is a semi crystalline special polymer material. PEEK membrane is one of the six major special temperature resistant engineering materials (polyether ether ketone PEEK, polysulfone PSF, polyimide PI, polyarylester PAR, polyphenylene sulfide PPS,and liquid crystal polymer LCP), The density of PEEK material is about 1.30 g/ml, with a melting point of 345 ℃, a softening point of 168 ℃, and a tensile strength of 132-148 MPa. PEEK products reinforced with glass or carbon fibers do not decrease in
mechanical strength at high temperatures of 240 ℃, and can be used as high-temperature resistant structural materials and electrical insulation materials.
PEEK thin film production can be processed through casting and orientation methods, and the materials have excellent mechanical
properties, chemical stability, electrical properties, and excellent high-temperature resistance. With its excellent physical and chemical properties such as high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, PEEK films are widely used in the fields of information communication, electronics, aerospace, medical devices (as artificial bone repair for bone defects) and industrial fields.
